Matthew 3:7-10

In this bold confrontation between John the Baptist and the religious elite, God draws a line in the sand. The Pharisees and Sadducees came dressed in religion—but John demanded fruit that proves repentance. This sermon exposes the difference between fake and real repentance, reveals the terrifying danger of relying on religious status, and reminds us that judgment is near. But more than anything, it challenges each of us to examine our own hearts: Are we bearing fruit that shows we’ve truly turned to God? Or are we clinging to leaves with no life?
